Rancho Cucamonga, CA – April 8, 2015 – Frank Vora, CCIM of Progressive Real Estate Partners, a leading Inland Empire commercial real estate brokerage firm, has been awarded the coveted Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation by the CCIM Institute. The designation was awarded during the Institute’s midyear business meeting March 24 in Chicago, Illinois.
Vora was among the 146 commercial real estate professionals, including nine from California, who earned the designation by passing the CCIM Institute’s Comprehensive Examination, the final element in the designation process. This new group of CCIM designees hails from 35 US states, one US territory, Canada, and Mexico.
Most candidates take a couple of years to complete the designation process but Vora finished his CCIM designation in seven months due to his years of experience and his zeal to complete it quickly. “Having the CCIM designation opens more doors,” says Vora. “The CCIM curriculum provided me a more comprehensive understanding of how to analyze a property and a trade area so I can provide my clients with an even higher level of service and expertise”. Vora is a member of the Greater Southern California CCIM Chapter and recently joined the Board of Directors as the Chair of Education.
The CCIM designation is awarded to commercial real estate professionals upon successful completion of an advanced analytical curriculum and presentation of a portfolio of qualifying industry experience. The curriculum addresses financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, and investment analysis — the cornerstones of commercial investment real estate. CCIMs are recognized experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and investment analysis.
Since joining Progressive Real Estate Partners in 2010 as an Investment Property Specialist, Vora has closed transactions totaling over $75 million and is one of the leading investment sales brokers specializing in retail properties in Southern California’s Inland Empire market. Vora is also an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives (ACRE).
