Rancho Cucamonga, CA – August 17, 2022 – Progressive Real Estate Partners announced the recent opening of several new retailers in the former Wal Mart space at the Perris Spectrum retail center. The stores include Fitness 19 (20,000 sf), Harbor Freight Tools (15,633 sf) and WSS Footwear (12,500 sf). The approximately 311,000 sf shopping center is anchored by Cardenas and Dollar Tree and is located at 2560 Perris Boulevard in Perris, California.
When Wal Mart left the center in 2015 the property ownership opted to renovate and subdivide the space to accommodate multiple retailers and add additional variety to the tenant mix. There are just two remaining spaces available of approximately 37,000 sf and 20,000 sf in the former Wal Mart building.
Additionally, the Spectrum recently expanded and built a brand new 2,200 sf KFC drive thru and a new 5,200 sf shop building that is home to Little Caesars (1,400 sf) and Altura Credit Union (2,800 sf). One vacancy of approximately 1,000 sf remains in the shop building.
Progressive Real Estate Partners Senior VP Paul Galmarini represented the landlord in the signing of all six leases (Fitness 19, Harbor Freight, WSS, KFC, Little Caesars and Altura Credit Union) totaling 54,533 sf. Galmarini is also handling the leasing of the remaining spaces in the former Wal Mart building and shop building.
Located in a high growth area, Perris Spectrum is ideally situated at the signalized intersection of North Perris Boulevard and Orange Avenue with combined daily traffic of 34,000+ cars. Furthermore, the property is less than 1 ½ miles from the busy I-215 freeway with average daily traffic counts of 103,000+ cars. The center features plenty of convenient parking and pylon signage and is also home to Wells Fargo, Sprint, Aaron’s, Speedy Lube, Taco Bell, Jack in the Box and a variety of other shops and services.
